At Petite Printers, we believe every child is an artist. Our creative print workshops are designed to inspire curiosity, imagination and confidence through hands-on play, sensory exploration and printmaking.
From creating colourful keepsakes to designing their very own T-shirts, every session encourages children to explore, experiment and express themselves in a fun, relaxed environment.
Founded by me, Selina, a professional print designer and mum, Petite Printers brings together a lifelong passion for print with a love of nurturing creativity in young children. Every workshop is thoughtfully planned to be engaging, welcoming and full of opportunities to create, play and print.

Meet the founder
I'm mum to a wonderful four-year-old girl, who's just about to start school — which, if you're a parent, you'll know is exactly the kind of milestone that makes you stop and think about everything that's led up to it.
Print has been part of my life for a long time. I studied graphics at university and spent the next 20 years working as a print designer in fashion, eight of those years in a print house, where I learned every technique going — the kind of hands-on knowledge you only really get from years at the bench.
When my daughter arrived, raising her became my priority, and we started baby and toddler classes together almost from the start. She's been by my side seven days a week ever since, and along the way we've tried more classes and workshops than I can count. What I noticed, over and over, is how much good an hour of creative play can do — not just for a child, but for the grown-up with them too. Watching your child create, really create, is one of life's simple joys, and giving families that hour together is exactly what Petite Printers is built around.
Every workshop is designed and taught by me personally — not outsourced, not templated from somewhere else.
Good to know
- — All materials and clean-up are included in every price.
- — We don't provide aprons, so please wear old clothes — you will be getting paint on them!
- — Workshops run in small groups so every child gets proper help.
- — Private parties and group bookings are available on request.
- — We're based in Leicester and also travel for larger bookings.
- — Every weekly class sends your little printmaker home with a brand-new keepsake, made that day.
